Yoga practiced and taught today has its origins in classical Raja and Hatha Yoga approaches as well as input from modern science and fitness modalities. Our team at Centered Yoga has extensive experience in these practices, their understanding, and teaching them.

Curriculum Details
You Teach
Your final in-person assessment includes teaching:
  • A focused Hatha Vinyasa 50-minute class sequence (the V50 class)
  • A Restorative Yin 30-minute class sequence
  • Key techniques for core work and body conditioning in a 15-minute sequence
  • A written reflection or practical teaching feedback is provided.
You Qualify: 3 Levels
  1. Complete only the In-Person 2-weeks at Samahita: 140-hours Yoga Training Certificate
  2. Complete In-Person and Centered Yoga Online: 200-hours Yoga Alliance Teaching Certificate
  3. Complete In-Person and Centered Yoga Online + Indian Yoga Association Online with Kaivalyadhama Yoga Institute*: 200-hours Yoga Alliance Teaching Certificate + the Indian Yoga Association Qualification
* Separate registration is required for the Kaivalyadham online program. Details will be sent to accepted students on this course who choose to add this option to their qualifications

Online: follow the program at your own pace. Complete all sections before the end of the In-Person program if you wish to qualify with a 200 hour Yoga Alliance Teaching Certificate. Optionally, Equally if you're interested in the additional Kaivalyadhama Yoga Institute online program and to add the Indian Yoga Association certification.
Refresh your understanding of these detailed anatomy and philosophy topics at any time with continued access to the online content after completion of the in-person program.
If you are only interested in the 140 hour Training Certificate done in-person then the online section is completely optional.

Dr. Paul Dallaghan
Paul has been immersed in the practice and study of yoga, the breath, and meditative techniques for over 30 years, has gained a reputation as a yogi, scientist and teacher, while being a happy father to two sons. Gill Breetzke
Gill was born in South Africa, and has lived abroad in the UK, Ireland and Asia. She began her international teaching career, working in Inner city London schools, supporting children from challenging backgrounds, then on to Dublin and Yangon. Koh Samui is now her home where she combines her love of yoga and music in this unique transformational place. Daniel Stringer
Daniel has been a student of yoga since discovering the practice in his home country England in 2003. In 2006 he completed his first training with Paul Dallaghan and subsequently taught yoga in Hong Kong for 10 years. Initially a guest teacher at Samahita since 2014 and joining Samahita full time in 2018. Arielle Nash
Arielle has spent nearly 20 years studying the human body, its performance and factors that contribute to wellness. Her passion and knowledge led her to a decade long career training athletes and educating fitness professionals. Arielle has been teaching yoga since 2004 and she holds a degree in Kinesiology, along with certifications in Mysofascial Compression Techniques©, Strength & Conditioning, and Nutrition & Wellness.
